Dear MICRORISC Partners, IQRF Friends,
Please find a brief summary of what is going on with IQRF and IQVCP, read about interesting applications and solutions to your frequent problems...
Interesting new applications, e.g. bio-magnetic healing devices, systems of hospital beds monitoring, cycling jackets with safety lights, and parking lots systems management, enlarged so far prevailing use of IQRF and IQVCP (intelligent city lighting, indoor lighting, thermoregulation systems, building and industry automation, AMR, smart grids, …).
Cycling jackets with safety lights: Technical University of Liberec and Applycon, Elitronic and Kalas companies invented a unique cycling jacket. The fluorescent smart jacket with a cyclocomputer lights up led signs, when a cyclist changes direction or brakes. The goal is to improve traffic safety wherever possible. Motorbikers, in-line skaters or skiers may be future users too. It is perfectly suitable to be washed in washing machine. IQRF transceivers are implemented to perform wireless communication among jacket and bike. This prototype of smart wear will be introduced at trade fairs in Poland, Germany and the Netherlands. Market availability is planned in spring 2013.
