A contest entry is a practical application using the wireless technology IQRF.
Create a new application for the wireless technology IQRF. The submitted application must be functional.
The main judging criteria are these:
All the applications should be different enough from the existing public IQRF applications and examples (for example from the technology web www.iqrf.org).
It is not obligatory for the contestant to purchase any development tools.
All contestants may purchase the IQRF development sets and tools with a discount up to 30% within the IQRF Smart School program, even if they are not members of this program. All the contestants may contact the IQRF Smart School manager Ivona Spurná to get discounted tools.
It is recommended to have development set DS-START-04 or development kits and wireless transceivers.
A contestant is any person who registers for the contest. Anybody from all over the world may test their skills. It may be an individual person or a group of people represented by one person who submits the entry. Both professionals and hobbyists may enter the contest. Students may be represented by their teachers, but it is not obligatory.
All entries must be obtained by organizer on May 21, 2017 or earlier. The best applications will be chosen to proceed to the final round which will take place in Prague, the Czech Republic in June 2017. The final presentations will be presented within an interactive exhibition of the selected projects and then the winners will be announced.
The project may be created by one person or a group of people that is represented by one of authors. Detailed instructions will be published at the contest website.
Projects of students are submitted by students themselves or their teacher. Students who will win a prize will have to prove their student status with a study certificate to win prizes for their school.
A contest project shall be submitted either in English (preferable) or Czech language.
It is necessary to upload one zipped file (maximum size 10 MB) with all the obligatory documents and software.

The best applications out of all submitted entries will be chosen by an expert jury to proceed to the final round that will take place in the Czech Republic in June 2017. The final presentations will be held as an interactive exhibition of the selected entries.
Finalists must prepare an electronic presentation and visual materials to present their project. Visual materials may include roll-ups, posters, models, pictures, etc. It is appropriate to make all materials in English, Czech will be accepted too. The expert jury will examine all the exhibited projects by questioning the authors.
At the end of the final round, winners will be announced and prizes will be awarded.
By entering, contestants release organizer from all liability with respect to the use of the prizes awarded. Contestants agree to be bound by these rules, and consent to the use of their names and contact information for future marketing purposes without additional compensation.
Organizer is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry of information including, but not limited to, technical malfunctions, human error, lost/delayed data transmission, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, line failures of any telephone network, computer equipment, software or any combination thereof, entry materials that have been tampered with, or e-mail or mail-in entries that are illegible, late, lost, or misdirected.
Organizer reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify, or suspend this contest without obligation if it discovers fraud, or any other causes beyond the control of organizer which corrupt or affect the administration, fairness, integrity, or proper conduct of this promotion.
Before submitting any entry, idea, or work, the contestant may want to consider seeking a patent for any unique or proprietary aspects of the application. Entries submitted to the contest will become the intellectual property of MICRORISC and IQRF Alliance. All materials submitted will become the property of MICRORISC and IQRF Alliance. All contestants grant organizer a non-exclusive perpetual worldwide license to publish and display in print or electronic format any contest project information submitted in the form of articles, application notes, or technical briefs.
Contest rules and conditions are subject to change without notice. The prizes cannot be claimed by the way of law. This contest shall be governed by the laws of the Czech Republic, without regard to its conflict of law’s provisions. Organizer expressly disclaims all other warranties or liabilities.
Organizer is committed to ensuring that your privacy is protected. All personal and other data about our customers, partners, participants of surveys or contestants are used only for purposes of the particular event (sale, contest etc.), for statistic or internal purposes. The information that you provide us is used to respond to your requests, notify you of products being shipped to you, customize your interactions with us, improve our offerings, provide materials or offers to you, allow you to participate in contests, and communicate with you. It is your choice whether or not to provide us with certain information. However, you may be unable to take advantage of many of our offers and features if we do not receive your customer information. Any time later on which you will be approached by us with non-requested information you may cease these actions in the future by simply letting us know. Customer information is important for organizer to be able to offer products and services to you. We are not in the business of selling customer information to others and we do not offer data to third parties.
